I'm really worried i sent 4 young fulica's to someone on thursday last week and they still haven't arrived! i packed them well in a food tub between layers of cottonwool and damp kitchen roll, i've always sent mine first class and the the longest it has taken has been 2 days (and most have arrived the next day) so i never really thought it nessary to use the next day service. i just really hope they're ok! do you think they'll be ok?

Well the margie baby Arno posted to me was in the post for uhm.. 4 or so days. Might have been more. She arrived safe and sound. It hasn't been totally cold every day... and Fulica are normally a hardier, so they might still be fine I'd check with the post office though and see if they've had any delays. And your webshots still doesn't work

If you packed them well they will be fine. I sent some big tigers to Germany earlier in the year and one package got there in a few days and the other (we thought0 went missing - it turned up well over a week later...the box was battered beyond belief but the snils were fine.

Wow. If Baby Tigers can survive it then it should be a walk (or slime?) in the park for Fulica lol. Shouldn't it?

I don't put a return address on anything unless it's sent recorded You don't think you need to when everything else has got to where it should. It's probably another flippin postal strike or something. Or they haven't posted it. I bought something ages ago from ebay that took ages to get here, I emailed the person who went to the P/O who said they hadn't had time to post it!! And that was a week after she'd taken it there!

I always insist on next day delivery!! Sure it costs more but it isn't every day you are buying or sending snails and at least you don't have to worry!!! Val p.s. I reckon they will be fine, sounds like they have plenty of air, so they should be O.K.

Hahahaha. I know, it was so stupid. I've never had things posted first class take over 2 days (not that I remember anyway). I have some faith in the postal service lol. Only a tiny amount though

So there must be something wrong with the post in Britain. I am still waiting for snailies posted last Tuesday. The margies Tom posted last Wednesday showed up Monday and he used Airsure. Usually snails are here in my home in Austria within 2 days using airsure or airmail. Evelyn´s snails too needed 9 days. OMG, in my packet are little Margies...
