Dream pet (away from snails)

Hello everyone!

I just felt like posting something about our dream pet (except for snails, of course) that we can't have. You can post yours if you like!

My dream pet would be a small, white German spitz, a cute little dog that looks like a fox. It's because they're so cute, nice, not agressive, they bark all the time... Yes, I also like them because they bark!  I know, I'm weird!

Unfortunately, I can only dream about it, because my brother is allergic to dogs (not much, but still), I wouldn't have enough time to take care of it (I think), the proprietary doesn't accept animals (exept for snails or fish) and we don't have the budget yet... Even if you'd like to have a pet, but you can't, you can still dream!

Hmm.. So many possibilities! I really want to get a crested gecko. I had the opportunity to get one but the time was just not right. Now I am better set up for it though!
This summer I also have big snail plans I'm going to get a tank set up for aquatic snails. Pretty soon I'll accumulate a zoo's worth of animals!

Realistic dream pets: I'm planning on getting a leopard gecko, and at some point I'd really like a bearded dragon and a crested gecko. I also want a millipede, and maybe some stick insects.

Dobermann dogs, huge python snakes, bearded dragons and chameleons.

For now my landlord only allows snail keeping. I got a separate line for my snails in the rent contract. Also those other animals are a lot more expensive to keep than snails are. Still, I can dream, study and plan ahead.

Reptiles sure sound cool, though they're not everyone's style (definitely not mine, unfortunately). One of my sisters dreams of getting a pet turtle, but she never had pets (to get a turtle, you need experience) and I don't think the proprietary would accept.

Guess what? I might have triops (prehistoric creatures), so if it works and if you want me to, I'll keep you updated! It's not exactly my dream pet, but it would be AWESOME!

German Shepherd or husky (but only if I had time to train it super super well)

I'd love to have a big, colorful parrot like a Major Mitchell's cockatoo or a blue and gold macaw, but I heard they are really loud and I'm not a fan of that  . I guess I'll stick to my budgie.
