I went on a trip with my friends and when I came back (I was out for only 2 days) my little Jimmy was dead He didn't seem very well when I left him, he was flabby and produced bubbles when I tried to pick him up. He wasn't active at all. My poor Jimmy was a great snail, he used to be very friendly and active, he wasn't afraid to crawl on my hand RIP Jimmy I have 2 other snails, Timmy and Lily, they seem pretty ok I think he died because he was stressed. Until I could get them a good habitat for them (now I have a big and beautiful terrarium), I kept them in a tupperware. REMEMBER: Don't keep your snails in a tupperware or in a plastic container. Especially if there are more than just one snail. They will stress out and eventually die. The other ones survived because they were much younger and I picked them later, so they spent less time in the tupperware. I'm so sorry, Jimmy. I should have been quicker. But I'm gonna take care of the babies: Timmy and Lily. Last photo of Jimmy: [/span]

I didn't have a suitable home for my snails when I first picked them, that's why I kept them in a terrarium as a temporary habitat.

Why shouldn't they be in a plastic container? My two are in a large plastic storage bin (58 liters/14 gallons).
