I think i'm going to lose my smithii in the night, he looks really poorly, his mouth is hanging out and hes all bloated, i knew he wasn't right at the beginning of the week when hestopped eating and growing and started to sleep in really weird positions, now he is barely alive and can't retract hes so big No one would happen to have any smithii for sale would they?? I love the species and i hate to lose him :-(

I hate it when that happens too, when a few snails die within a short period of time....It's not your fault though.

it was just hanging out of it's shell, at first it's mouth swelled up and he couldn't move, then he deflated and died :-( it was a horrible sight, and my parents took the cameras to work

has anyone else got smithii from fredrik? All mine (1 adult and 4 juveniles) were from Fredrik, and are all very healthy and active, the 4 juveniles ive had since they were about 1cm, they've all grown really well and are now around 5cm or so...the adult is about 10cm.
