Since I had 3 brown snails and the others had unique colors, I liked to refer to Choco, Cappucino and Marble as the "Brownies Club".
But a while ago, as you know, Marble left the club. Choco, my favorite from the club, signed out too. Yesterday, it was Cappucino's turn.
So, the "Brownies Club" is all gone now. I know they're in a better place now. I know it had to happen someday. I know they're just snails. But it's only been a year! It's so hard to deal with deaths, even when it's only snails! At least, God allowed me to notice their deaths before the stink: I wouldn't have been able to deal with that. Now, I feel like I didn't pay enough attention to them. My best friend, who likes snails too, but can't keep some because of her busy schedule, helped me feel better, but it's still very hard.
Goodbye, my little brownies, I'll miss you. Marble, you were so funny when trying to eat all the toilet paper! Choco, you were my favorite brownie, and you may have been shy, but you had lots of personnality. Cappucino, I knew it was time to let you go, but I was attached to the hope you'd stay. At least, you're in a better place now.
Rest in peace, my little "Brownies Club".
My little sleepyhead!
