Its ok to keep those species together, they wont cross-breed either.
If either the fulica or marginata are wild caught then they may spread parasites or illness to each other though.

It might not work well though, fulica prefer it drier and margies like it pretty wet. I had mine together but had to move the fulica out again for that reason. Yours might be fine though You just have to try it and see. With the wild caught bit, most people keep wc's on their own for a while then put them in with the captive breds, other people just keep the wcs in a tank together.

I've just orderd the marginata from an online shop and it didn't say if it was wild caught or not I just assumed it would be captive bred...

Oh is this bad? No, if you were planning on keeping them with your other snails it may be best to keep the marginata seperate for a whille first, Why dont you join the forum Jorb?

I have stalked this community for a while actually but only having one snail (my other one died ) it seemed a bit silly to join. I am trying to start a collection now though

Oh do you know how long I should keep it separate for please? Im not sure how long to recommend? maybe a couple of months?, others on here may have experiences with keeping wild caught snails with captive bred ones, and suggest keeping them seperate longer?, or for less than a few months? I keep some wild caught margies in with some captive fulica, they've been together for months and are ok, they're all active, I kept the margies seperate for a few months first.

I'd say a month would be ok, just check their poops for parasites or any little wriggly things and make sure they are eating well :-)
How big are your fulica? the margies from NWE are pretty big, i wouldn't recomend keeping them with snails a lot smaller as they may crush them

I only kept my one from NWE seperate for a week as I thought it might have been with them for a while, but if you want to be totally safe then go with what the others say I keep 2 wild caught snails with captive bred ones and there hasn't been any problems so far, and one has been with them for months and months. My biggest two (11cm+ and 16cm+) are in with 3 other snails of 5-6cm and are fine, the others actually went in with them when they were about 3-4 cm and have been fine. I know some people have had bad experiences with mixing small and large snails, but then others haven't so it's up to you. Go ahead and join! One snail is no excuse lol there are people on here who joined when they had no snails
