Hi iv found a snail with part of his foot ripped off and half dried.. it looks like somthing bite him.. the rest of the body seems ok but that part is half conected to the body.. What do you think i should do to help him?

(I am new to snails this is probably not very good advice... sorry)
I would put him somewhere humid and wet and give him lots of protein... Maybe experiment to see what food he likes?

if the dried area isnt too large, i think cutting it off might do some good? provided snails go by the same laws as mammals in regards to gangrene, leaving the dried part on could cause more tissue to die

cutting off the affected area might be a good idea, but I don't see it being very realistic since the snail will retract before you can finish the first cut. You can try chopping off the entire end of the foot, but that would cause heavy bleeding with no way to stop it, so I wouldn't recommend that either. Your best option is just to nurse the snail in a humid environment with nutritious food and hope its own immune system can keep infection from spreading.
