Funny Snail Situations: Round 2

I was going to reply to a thread called "Funny Snail Situations", but it is locked. I suppose it hit a deadline, as the last post is over two years ago. 

Let's try a round two of 'Snails Caught in Laughable Snapshots'. 



I'll start by posting a shot of my young, large and very jade fulica Celestine, trampling over older, smaller fulica Ugolino. I had put them aside redoing the tank, and found them on top of eachother when i turned to them. Thought they was about to mate..

Here are some pics that crack me up. This was from the first day that I put my Helix Pomatia and wild caught Globe Snails together in the same terrarrium. I gave them some cucumber as a treat but as you can see, the roman snails hadn't quite learned their manners yet! 

I put the Pomatia in the center of the cucumber, then a globe snail came in and started chewing on the sides. I looked away for a few minutes and when I came back, the Pomatia had slightly moved to the left and covered most of the globe snail's face, just to be rude.



"Excuse me, sir, You're covering most of my face with your foot."
