I noticed a very large chubby slug on the footpath and it was at a risk of getting stepped on, so I quickly picked it up and took it home. I kinda like slugs and wish to keep it maybe for a few months but I wonder if it is safe to put it with my other two snails. I'm keeping it in a separate container right now but noticed it has white mites. How do I keep slugs and keep it healthy? 1. ibb.co/Rjm4jkj2. ibb.co/dkzy0wX

Wow, that's a handsome slug!
Slug keeping is a lot like snail keeping, they need less calcium (it's good to have a small source of calcium around anyway, just in case) and their activities are a bit different - they escape tanks more easily, for example. Slug slime is also harder to clean up as it's more sticky.
He has to be quarantined while he has mites. If there are only a couple, removing them whenever you see them and giving him diluted green tea baths might do the trick. If he's mite infested, only the Hypoaspis miles predator mite can help get him fully rid of them.
