Hello everyone and best regards from Spain.
I am a rookie on the subject of snails. Two days ago they gave me four snails of Helix aspersa, I prepared an aquarium with water and food (calcium carbonate and chicken feed).
Cal was my surprise !! The next day I observed that a couple of snails were mating, for me it was something incredible since I had never seen it and especially that they were paired the next day to give them to me, so I am searching the web for all the information I can about the setting of eggs and so on, as I read the egg laying occurs 15 days after mating, but what was my surprise again! the next day of the courtship of love was the two snails laying eggs in a hole in the ground, is it normal for the other day to mate lay the eggs?
Thank you

It’s possible that they could have mated previously, it also is possible that they laid them that quick, I’ve seen it before.
