Can Helix aspersa and Pacific Sidebands be housed together?

Hi, I have a friend who has some pacific side band snails and I was going to pic some up, but I was wondering if they could be housed with my aspersas (provided they have adequate space)? 

They are both peaceful and could not cross breed, has anyone kept them together before?

Theoretically, but pacific sidebands love cool conditions and a lot of space, so a large single-species enclosure would be more optimal for them. Also make sure you keep it in a cooler part of the house as they won't tolerate content warm temperatures well. Ideal range is 72-60*F.
