You know what really grinds my gears?

Diagrams of snail anatomy. Specifically cornu aspersum. I have seen so many wildly inaccurate diagrams that I'm sceptical of all of them. The only way to know what's correct for certain would be to cut one open myself. And I am NOT doing that.
Yeah, that's what their shells are shaped like. How am I to believe the organs are shown in the right place, if the snail shown is a completely different species!?
