So, judging from the picture, is the white part on his shell from a break/tear or is it just the shell starting to get colored? He was like that 17 days ago when I found him in a lettuce, the rest of his shell barely had any color but that white part was still there, though it might've changed a bit until now, can't say for sure. I wanted him to have a nice shell and it bugs me if it's not gonna get more uniform. Would you say it's from an accident or just normal when the shell just started pigmentation?

From the pic this looks like what a normal baby shell looks like. As they grow up the patterns start to look more “normal” but these sorts of things are super normal with snails under 6 mo
