i just picked up my snail to see if he’s okay because i noticed he hadn’t moved overnight. i saw multiple eggs on him! so he had babies. there is only one snail in the tank. can they be fertilized? is he still laying the eggs because the eggs aren’t in the dirt but on his body. what should i do? i’m also confused because there aren’t many eggs and he isn’t moving... maybe about 15 eggs

They were probably stuck to him. That’s happened to my snail before. After laying, the clutch is covered in mucus. So it gets stuck on things.

So it gets stuck on things. that makes sense haha. for some reason, he hatched them all over the place, it took forever for me to find the majority of them, i’m sure i accidentally left one

They usually surface and then try to climb up the walls of the tank.
