What are the signs of old age in snails?
I fear my beloved Heavy Weather has reached the end of his life. His mantle is wrinkled, and his shell has grown white patches. Those patches are around the scars he has from his horrible accident. They’re hard to notice, but they weren’t there before.
He is over one year old. I caught him on April 4th, when he was already about three months of age. He’s not behaving sickly, but he’s definitely getting old.. what do you guys think?

For a young Cornu aspersum raised in captivity I would put it's life expectancy at about 3 years. Even 5 years is possible in optimal conditions. It shouldn't be near the end of it's life, likely just has it's shell worn down a bit. With a good diverse diet it should be fine.
