Hi, I recently found an amber snail on one of my plants. I decided to take it in. I couldn't find a minimum size tank for amber snails online, so I just kept the snail in a 0.75 gallon tank with mesh ventilation. Can anyone tell me the minimum size for an amber snail? Here is my list of questions, it would be very much appreciated for some to be answered.
Minimum tank size? Do they need a shallow pool as they naturally live near water? Food? Do these snails need cuttlebone? Will it get lonely? Do I need to get it a partner? What do they eat?
Thanks!

I've never kept amber snails before, but I believe the care is fairly similar to other small land snails. I'll try to answer your questions- This is a really handy link for figuring out whether your tank is big enough - www.petsnails.co.uk/snail-calc.phpYour 0.75L is probably big enough, looking at this. I'm not sure about the water dish, maybe someone who is more versed in Amber Snails can help you. Food will be similar to other land snails. This thread is a great resource! petsnails.proboards.com/thread/9416/feed-snails?page=1&scrollTo=85574It will need cuttlebone(or another calcium source), all snails need calcium. Snails often benefit from having a friend. I don't think they NEED one, but it seems to make them happier when they are social.

Hi! Amber snails would probably need the same care as other small snails.
I would advise you to get a small fish tank or plastic bin for their home, small enough for an amber snail but still big.
Since amber snails are tiny, a water dish could possibly drown them. All you would need is to mist the tank daily with water and keep their food moist.
Yes, every snail needs cuttlebone or some sort of calcium source.
I would advise feeding an amber snail vegetables and the occasional fruit and source of protein such as algae flakes or fish food with safe ingredients.
Like said above, they don’t NEED a partner but they really enjoy and benefit from one. I would recommend getting them a partner if possible.
Goodluck! Keep us updated on your snail!
