Many of the plants listed, in fact will not grow in a box...
I have several substrates depending on the different areas, and I use coconut only in two boxes; abt that I can tell you for sure that clover and daisies can grow there (I have them in the coconut so it comes from direct experience), but for many plants it is not ideal!

Hi! Those guys are really awesome, I usually see them in the forest and they are amongst my favourite species, although I never raised any (as I only have Cornu aspersum found from vegetables and inside my car -when I park it near the bushes ) They have a bit of a different lifestyle compared to other common snails: they spend almost the entire life in dark places that are never reached by the sun, and they love to spend time underneath the "stuff" they can find in the wood (barks, dead leaves, underwood dwelling plants, rocks, musk and so on), they love moisture and they are mostly scavenger guys. For these reasons their setup should be a bit different from other that we are used to: best soil should be the one that they were from, you can just pick it from there and sterilize it if you can; the top layer should have lot of those rocks and leaves and musks and lichens and barks, in order to form an appealing environment for them underneat (according to what I am now reading -since I am translating some information from an italian forum's thread of one guy who have them from long- the musk alone can be enough! it is also enough to keep the moisture); their favourite temperature (they say) is around 15 to 18 celsius, and in general it depends from the environment where they were from ( since I always found them in the forest and mostly in the mountains at low altitudes, I guess they can easily bear cold temperatures too); dark is needed. Their diet is also ( but not only) based on scavanging, and I read (don't know if is confirmed) that they are even able to hunt some kind of insect, and they eat plants but also dead animals.. For example I see amongst the feeding advices, they suggest to give them sometimes moth's larvae, that they will consume after they start to decompose a bit.. They even eat other gastropods' corpses; also they eat many kind of plants (dead and alive) and when raised in captivity, they use to accept also many kind of vegs and fruits! Again, I want to say that I never had any of them, and the informations I wrote here are just found online, but are specific for those guys.. So if anyone wants to correct this post to add or change informations, I'll be glad to learn more abt these snails too!!
