I don't know anything about snails and I need advice. A small snail crawled into my potted plant that I keep on my balcony. I brought the plant in as the weather started getting too cold for the plant. The snail seemed to be hibernating. After a few weeks the snail woke up. He curls up during the day and at night he bustles about at the base of the plant. Warmer weather is a few months away and I don't think it's a good idea to release him back into the wild when it's this cold. What should I do? I'm worried that he starves or that the pot plant is an unsuitable environment for him. Thank you in advance.
