My snail, Calliope, started looking puffy about three days ago. She is spending more time sleeping, and she is eating less. If I wake her up she seems fine, and she will crawl around on my hands for a while. There is one other snail in her tank, Iris, and she is fine. I am a new snail owner & I’m really freaking out! Also— I did not remove her from the wall of my tank like this, I found her laying upside down in the soil earlier. I ran a bit of warm water over her shell and she came out and crawled around, but she did not eat. imgur.com/gallery/7OGig79

If she has eaten one of those things, there’s really nothing you can do. If its eggs, she should lay them within a few days and go back to normal.

This is true, and there is also the possibility that she is simply eating too much and delaying the hibernation period: in the case it is a local snail, is probably used to hibernate during the winter, but if she does not realize on time, there is the possibility that she goes on eating in order to store energies for the winter and become fat! I had this experience last year, and also when they do not live inside the house but outside, before the winter they may get a bit puffy if they have enough food to store.. It is not a problem for them, and by the pics your guy doesn't even look too puffy! Also I want to add that in the case she ate some pasta and rice, there would be some problems and reaction, but if it is for once, they will not be so much severely affected. Pls note that my direct experience is only related to garden snails, but I think this puffyness thing can work more or less the same for many species (I just think this, and if anyone has detailed information abt your kind of guy, I'll be happy to read them!)
