I was wondering if anyone has any methods they use for picking up the very small baby snails that have recently hatched. Sometimes I'll miss some eggs and they hatch in my adult tank so I take them out and move them into a smaller tank I keep for babies. It always makes me super nervous to try and move them out of fear of accidentally hurting them. I'm aware of the popular method of letting them climb on things and then moving that object, but even then they're so little I'm scared something could happen and they might roll off. I'm maybe over-worrying about this, but I figure asking doesn't hurt.

I let them climb onto things and then move them, as you said. I think it's safer than actually touching them, since I'm not sure how solid their shells are when they are newborn. I just go very slowly, and keep my hand just below the object in case they fall.
I'm not really sure how else you could do it without touching them.

Hi there! I’d just let them crawl onto something or into your finger and move them that way.
