Hello! So since November sometime one of my snail has has deep retraction problems. I was worried about him so I’d give him green tea baths. Everything was ok if I left him alone he would be fine. I would give him food and calcium and let him do what he wants. (He wasn’t getting enough food I could tell). But, me and my family are at the beach for thanksgiving and I had to bring all my snails. It was all ok until I noticed he was fatter back the usually. I bought them new carrots and got them fresh calcium and then sprayed them so now I’m just waiting. I can’t tell if he is alive or not and I’m real worried. I do know that snails have a high mortality rate when they act like this I just can’t let him die. I’d send a photo but idk how. There helix aspersa btw. What should I do? I’ll keep you guys updated. Happy New Years.

Any change with him?
Unfortunately there might not be much more you can do and aside from perhaps trying to wake him up to feed or take a nutrient bath, it's probably best to let him rest any energy he has.
Could possibly consider putting him in his own container to monitor him better without having to disturb him?

Hey. Nothing has changed since I posted this. I’m on my way home now so once i get all the other snails settled back in there tank I’ll give him a bath. Then put him in his own tank and see if there’s anything I can do to help him. Thanks.
