Can a baby slug be kept with snails? I found one that had infiltrated into my snail tank, most probably through the food or soil. I'd prefer to keep it, since it is cold outside and i find it quite cute, but I'm not sure if I could keep it with the snails?

I don't know, but I wouldn't. The snails could eat the slug or the slug could eat the snails. It would be better to keep it in a separate enclosure.

I definitely will, since it's less than 1cm long at the moment. I'll try and see how to care for it, although right now I use an empty bottle with soil as it's enclosure, with aire holes in the cap. It's so small that it hardly needs more space. Once it grows bigger I'll definitely upgrade it's habitat though.

Hi, I also had some little slug appearing from apparently nowhere, I guess they were in some plants I bought! Those slugs are little Deroceras (but that s the only thing I know as I was not able to tell the specie) and they are living super well together with my many (around 110) Cornu aspersum!
They even gave me a second generation already, they share food peacefully and their attitude towards snail is totally neutral if not "friendly" i often found them eating "at the same table", or even bathing together, they seems to cope perfectly with each other!
I also have to say that those guys are peaceful slugs, and small ones! There are other kind of slugs that instead cannot live together with snails, if you add some pics it will be easier to tell if they can or not. PS: I have no idea abt their terrarium needs, all my guys live outside on the balcony, and the environment I created is more or less as natural as possible (but I have choosen the plants that they like to infest in the wild)

Hi! I have had slugs and my tank before and it’s perfectly fine (found stoa way slugs lol)! Of course, I would make sure the slug has no mites etc. It would be best to make it a separate enclosure so it has its own space, but you can do water ever you’d like. It also may depend on what species of snail you have. If you have two they may lay eggs and they are really easy to hatch! And adorable! Best of luck friend.
