Hey . . . I'm pretty new about snails. I should be getting one soon, so before I do, I have a quick question. Because I am not the kind of person that has access to cuttlebone all the time. I know I can feed snails eggshells for calcium, but it won't be as much as cuttlebone. I'm going to try and get stuff, but it's not too easy. Is there any other kind of ways I could give snails calcium easily? (Not including cuttlebone.)

Hello! yes the three ways I like to provide calcium eggshells, cuttlebone, or reptile calcium. I recommend cuttlebone but since you do not have that I would say use reptile calcium. It is like a powder and you can get it in a couple different brands. When you buy it there are 2 options, with or without D3. D3 is safe for snails but not a lot of it, so buy the one without D3. They may not have it in stores so try ordering it online. I would give them it in a bowl and not sprinkle it over their food because they cannot control their calcium intake if they are eating it on the food. If you do eggshells remember to watch them good and bake them in the oven! I hope this helps, and good luck!
