The other day I happened to look through my snail’s breathing cavity and I noticed inside his shell there was a web like structure spanning across most of the roof, it seems to be made of some kind of mucus but I could be wrong. It is mostly stuck to his shell but there are threads of it going down (however I can’t see where the go). Does anyone know if this is normal and what it is?

Oh, that’s interesting. Maybe it is just apart of their body, etc. Do you think you could try and take a photo?

I could try, however since he’s just a baby his breathing cavity is very small and obviously inside his shell is dark so I doubt it would show up in a photo.
