Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing well! I have recent had an issue with one of my mystery snails. I assessed the situation, when things didn’t get better I asked around. Nobody on any snail community I asked on knew. I thought that you guys may be able to answer my question though! Here is basically what happened.. -I had two of my male mystery snails in a separate tank (away from my 30 gallon tank they used to be in) because they were mating with my female. -I decided to acclimate them back. They did perfectly fine and acted normal. -a few days later, one stopped moving and just sat around. -I acclimated him back to the smaller tank, tested the water, turned the heat up, and gave him lots of food. -the parameters were fine in both tanks. -he wouldn’t move for days, so today I gave him a warm bath and then acclimated him, again, back to the big tank. -I know all this moving around may have stressed him, but I asked so many people, nobody knew, and I was just trying to do anything to help. -(btw he wouldn’t come fully out of his shell before, just halfway) he comes out of his shell a bit more, and I see a strange long orange-ish thing protruding from his right side. -I will add photos soon, but I believe this was his reproductive organs. -he is now just sitting there. So, there is the whole story. I have spent hours upon hours on my phone trying to find help, when I’m not quite sure why I didn’t just come here in the first place. Does anyone know why he would be doing this? Thank you so much for your time!

Lots of temperature changes are very stressful to aquatic snails. Warm baths like that will stress them more than help them.
Keep the light off and don’t change the temperature. You might want to put some food in there to coax him out of his shell.

Hi! Yes, I am aware that those things can stress him. This was an on going thing, and I was searching for help but couldn’t find any. I was doing anything I could to help him. All the moving didn’t seem to bother him, nor did he have any interest in food. He moved around this morning, but stopped shortly and curled up again. Here is an image. youtube.com/shorts/ryh_iK-2Stk?feature=shareI was thinking those were his reproductive organs, like I said, but I’m still not totally sure.
