Hi, ive found this slug on my floor yesterday. he is very not active, didnt produce slime when i picked him and barley moved. iput him in a container with water and hunidity assuming he might be dehydrated. after a few hours i think i saw some improvment with his activity and his ability to stick on surfaces, but since then there isnt much improvment and he isbt eating. he has these weired wrinkles and bludges on his skin and mentle. what do you think it is? do you have any ideas how to help him? thank you pictures in the link

Hi there! It’s hard to tell from the photos, maybe try and take some more photos. It is definitely possible the slug was just a bit dry. They should be just fine in about a day. Give them some food, water, in a small container with dirt, etc, and keep a very close eye on them. Let me know how that sounds and keep me updated! I hope that helps!

That’s good that they are more active! If they were a bit dry, like I said it would only take a day, at most, for them to rehydrate, etc. So, they should be doing good now, and they appear just fine to me! Slugs and snails generally don’t eat that much, but when they do need to eat, they will come to the food. I don’t think that your slug isn’t eating because of dehydration, but since there is so little known about slugs, you never know. Just be sure they can find the food. Also, I’d like to add, that slugs do produce more slime, or mucous, then snails. So, it is completely normal for your slug to feel super slimey, or be producing lots of slime. Let me know how things go!

My apologies for the late reply again! It is very hard to tell from the video, but appears to just be a glob of slime or poo. Doesn't seem too suspicious. Let me know how the slug is doing! And I will let you know if I think that thing is anything worth worrying about, ok.
