I was thinking..... how about in the summer we arrange a meet up and bring a few snails along for a snail version of crufts? judge stuff like shell pattern, condition, friendliness? and people could bring a few snails they want to sell etc? not sure how easy this would be as people live all over the place! just a thought

that would be good, but it would be a prob for people who live far away.

I would love that but I don't think its possible we're too widely dispersed.

I vote we have one in Scotland, and one in England. That way more people can get to it without a big distance to go. And meet more local members too.

England's a big place you know True true, but im sure it would be easier to have a picnic in the middle of England vs. the boarder between Scotland and England, especialy for the Londoners. And the Scottish resident folks could meet in Glasgow, which is pretty middle-quality (even stirling really) and that way the people we meet are also local. Which is great for helping each other out, snail sitting, emergencies, etc. Then someday if the group is big enough, could have a big snail event at the belt for everyone, maybe that show I mentioned.

That would be great, but we could have sections, like some in exeter , some in plymouth etc. but i would have to bring my dad and some of us are adults and like me ,some of us are only kids, it would be a bit awkward tallking...

i like that idea, and if we were in regions there are a few of us in the south of england so i'd be happy to join that group... it'd be nice to meet people who are nearby and like snails.
i'd probably be able to get a few people (that i've admittedly never met) by contacting the guy who rescued Isaac from the wild as there were lots of others with him
