Paul, have you had a look at my last post on the Snail Health Research thread... regarding what appears to be a breakthrough in eradicating mites from the organism of the snails themselves (not only from their living environment)?
Any thoughts?

Yeah I read it but the chemicals seem to be suitable for cleaning the environment.
It is possible to rid the snails completely using Hypoaspis. I doubt it is just me who has been successful because we've been recommending this method on here for a good while now, I'm pretty certain other people have tried it.
I've done it a few times, and I've witnessed the Hypoaspis entering the pneumostome in search of prey. With my snails the mites have never returned so I must have got every last one.
The key is to clean the tank as well as possible, shower/bathe the snails and then release the Hypoaspis. With 1000s of Hypoaspis the remaining Riccardoella don't stand a chance.
I'm looking for help on nematodes. I know Hypoaspis will eat them because I've seen the videos online, but I've observed the worms being ignored by the Hypoaspis, and they also tend to congregate on rotting food, that Hypoaspis stuggle to move on.
