And if you dont, put them in a bag or tub and put it in the freezer, then dispose of them after a couple of days. Congrats though, it's lovely having your first batch of eggs because you know then you're doing it right ;D

Yeah we want to let them hatch....it looks like there are roughly 20 or so eggs....will they all hatch?? Some of them are under the soil and some are kinda on top....do I need to do anything special for them or just leave it alone??? And also how long will it take to hatch??? My daughter is really excited.....thanks for the help.....

I think they take about 1-2 weeks to hatch, depending on temperature I putted my eggs in another little tank, so my "big" snails wouldn't disturb them. You just must keep the eggs damp And mostly more than half of the eggs hatch, sometimes all or sometimes there are only two or three eggs that won't hatch But don't turn the eggs around too mutch!

hi, since i am here and you are already talking about ways to dispose of eggs, I have a hypothetical question, would microwaving the eggs work too? and would it be any more unpleasant to the unhatched than being frozen alive?

I found 143! Im freezing 120 of them. I feel so guilty but theres no way I cudve rehomed all of them. In answer to ur question-it wud prob work but wud u rather freeze 2 death or b burnt alive?

If they are native snails you could hatch them then release them outside. Just a thought.

also ive been told to feed unwanted eggs to fish or reptiles ? when doing this do you freeze first, or just give them to them how they are? (if you know what i mean) x
