We were given some young L. fulica about two weeks ago. Have been watching them closely and all have laid down plenty of new shell. They are happy and healthy.
If anyone would like any please send me your address to dandar@brown-scawby.freeserve.co.uk. Let me know how many you would like. I know you said you would have some, Nat, do you still or have you enough snails now? Do you still want some Angie? Kev, do you still want all the remaining snails? I am going to keep the two smallest ones and the poor guy with the damaged shell. That leaves 21.
Hope to send them out on Wednesday, first class/next day delivery. No charge just pay me postage when you can.
Thank you.

Hi, I've e-mailed you back, Nat. Was lovely to hear from you. Two of the most adorable saved for you. Ceiron, you can have as many as you want - if you want. Kev is going to have all the remainder, he's happy to have the whole lot. So, let me know. PS [OT - apologies] That terrapin is enormous!!!! He likes guitar, too. Love Correne

OK. To let you know, have been waylaid with work. I have printed labels, obtained suitable boxes etc, but as time was pressing-on decided not to risk a late Wednesday post. Will send out snails on Monday unless you tell me when you would prefer (Tuesday or Wednesday). Really sorry!!!!
Love Correne

Will try and post on Monday, but it would be much easier for me to dispatch on Tuesday (if that's OK with everyone) as I can take the day off and spend plenty of time ensuring the snails are packed perfectly. I will, of course, advise you, Kev and Anjie of an ETA for Wednesday. Sorry again, but it's been mad here!

Maybe not. Have just seen Linda's post and realise how sensible not to dispatch until we know the postal service is back to 'normal'. I am now thankful that I didn't manage to post the snails yesterday.

I wouldn't worry too much Anjie, I think the PO were only saying it to be cautious. I am sure the post will continue as usual.
