The first batch of Pancake slug eggs have hatched. The sluglets are about 10 mm long, creamy yellow miniatures of the adults. I estimate about thirty, but they are gathered tightly in a mound on the underside of the bark, above the eggmass.

Really great news ;D They are bigger than I thought also, I wouldve thought they would be around 3mm at birth..Maybe they are the first captive bred ones in the UK?
30, thats a lot as well, I wouldnt of thought that many would come from an eggmass
Hopefully my eggs will also hatch soon

They are still eating the empty egg cases at the moment. Once they start to move away and begin feeding normally, I can think about distributing some.
