wow brian your tank setup is amazing! i wish mine were that good. theyre very strange snails, once they retract they take so long to come out.

yeh I found that too. if they get scared they do take a while to pluck up courage again. but if you consider what they have been through last few weeks it's hardly surprising Brian

MINE ARRIVED TODAY, after only 2 days! WOW! Here are some picĀ“s of them just after arrival. One was already out in the packing-box and the other seems to have been too, but is incredible shy and retracting immediately if someone is going near the tank. tinypic.com/ejwj5x.jpgand in their tank: tinypic.com/ejwj8y.jpgNow are both of them out and the active one has already feed on the cucumber and is now hanging on the lid of the tank. The other one is just sitting around in front of the cucumber. Will bring in now some Cherry-leaves and warm them up. We had tonight only 4 degree (crashed tonight, but get better the next nights) and the snails seem not to be effected on that. The package was icy-cold, but both have moved around in there. Thanks again for giving me such an nice day! ;D Kind regards, Gabi

It is a "Cyprus-grass" (sold as catgrass) here. No snail is eating it, but they love it to sleep in (not the lignus yet)
Kind regards,
Gabi
