ive never kept slugs, what types do you have kevin? At the moment I keep three species that are not native to the UK, the Yellow ones from Tanzania in this thread, Barbados Pancake Slugs (Veronicella sloanei) and South African Velvet Slugs (Laevicaulis c.f natalensis) What size do these grow toi Kevin? They are really interesting LOVE the colour. What conditions do they need?? (You've started something now) ;D ;D Im not sure how big they grow to? the ones that laid the eggs are around 8cm when retracted, and around 15cm or so when fully extended, thats only a guess though cause' I havent measured them, I keep them the same as I keep my snails, they are kept humid and sprayed regulary, they dont like lettuce, they are fed cucumber..They're very slimy for slugs, very sticky ;D

They're not the same species as the North American Banana Slugs, Im not sure what species they are, my two adults were wild caught from Tanzania, I havent been able to find out any information on them.
