The only thing i am over the moon about is that i have heard so many times how difficult it is to hatch these species and yet i have done it in 3 weeks first time, and omg the babies are cute... Does anyone know how thye think i should keep them, or how have people that have hatched and raised these and been successful kept theirs? Normally Margie babies stay burrowed in the soil for about a week or more(obviously a bit difficult in your case). But they have also been known to eat the shell of unhatched eggs so you have the advantage of spotting that right away. And congrats ;D

oh yes i kept them with their eggshells, they ate some but then just slithered off and ignored the rest, they seem ok, i saw one eat a little bit of cucumber yesterday :-)

Im keeping my fingers crossed that summer coming will put them both in the mood. I starting to get really impatient actually! I think the problem is that she is just too lazy to do it might go and give them a nice bath, they definately arent going to mate when they are asleep!

well mine seemed to hatch fine on capillary matting, and no annoying little visitors, lol as long as they are kept humid then the eggs seem to stay nice and moist and warm :-)
the small eggs are fulica, i do hatch some now and then for petshops etc.
