I read on a book that slugs as snails are fond for oranges. May I give orange to my Achatinas?

Can they eat the skin? Or just the flesh? (Orange mainly but any skin not allowed would be handy) I know they'd eat around it if they don't like it, but I didn't want them liking and eating it and then finding out it's bad lol.

Thanks. Here, we have loads of biologic oranges that falled down from the trees, because no one catched it. If so I´ll get some extra for snails too, and for free. lol
