I already heard good and bad things about chicken mash. I would rather prefer to know that chicken mash is near 90% fine, of course. I hope anyway to hear another opinion and try to discover more... Have fun and good luck!

You tend to find chicken mash in old style pet shops. You know the sort that buy everything in sacks and bag it up themselves... Pets at home etc are useless all pre packed stuff. Nat

Ooo I love shops like that Nat lol. We get our budgie seed from one like it. Is a great price too.
The only few things our pets at home don't pre pack are the cuttle fish (yay) and millet. I think there's something else too but for the life of me I don't remember what it is lol.
I'm gonna look out for this chicken mash, just to have something different to feed mine for when we get a bit low on salad stuff. Should it only be a treat or can it be fed every day?

Chicken mash is fine as it is all cereal crops. It is used by snail-farms as about 2-5% of the diet. Can't see any reason not to use it.

Avoid millet at all costs!!!
Fredrik discovered it is bad, because the snails can't digest it properly. It leads to bloating (water retention) and death. An autopsy revealed that not one piece of millet had been digested. And it was cooked! It seems to be the texture that causes the problem. I've added it to pasta on the dangerous foods list.

Oooh no, I didn't mean it for the snails. We get it for our budgies lol Sorry.
But thankyou for telling me anyway! Is good info to know.
