Well yes I may well sign up. About the snails that I have, well they are only fulica...I think. Thinking about getting some tigers Sorry for kind of changing the subject. Also, is this only iceberg lettuce? Has this been said about any other lettuce? Well now we know that iceberg is safe, what about other types? Thanks

My Fulica do that with any food. They really love their cucumber because to start with that was the main thing I fed them on, but now they do eat other foods too, but they still eat the cucumber first if I put it in with anything else. My margie baby did it with lettuce (not iceberg) also, (it was all we had in the fridge for a while) but will eat others now if I don't give her the lettuce.
I feed mine little gem lettuce I think it is (can't remember) and nothing has happened to any of the snails that have eaten it.

Its a valid point that.
I think babies are far less fussy but as they get older it is harder to get them to change their ways and try new food.

Yes, I'm trying to vary my babies diets a lot so that I hopefully wont get any problems later. Luckily my Fulica are like dustbins and eat just about everything lol. I'm sure they'd still prefer to just eat cucumber though lol I also found Freddie likes courgette but wont normally eat much of anything else if there's some courgette in there. It's like humans really isn't it. We all have something we would prefer to eat over something else lol.
