My adult albino margies haven't touched their cuttlefish, not even a nibble, which made me wonder, do adult snails actually need cuttlefish?? After all they aren't growing any shell. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

My albino margies are all adults and they have an odd nibbles but not much. The margies ovum which are also adults have nibbled more on cuttlefish and they have bigger shells than the albino ones.
Don't know if they need cuttlefish or not, but it's still worth to put one in for them.

Ive just started grinding up cuttlefish bone and mixing it with the coir in my tanks, as well as giving my snails cuttlefish bone...My wildcaught margies and tigers dont eat much from the cuttlefish, but they do eat a small amount from it.
