Can snails eat mushrooms? All they're getting at the mo is lettuce, cucumber and tomato. I need ideas. Also I'm sure I read something about yoghurt, can snails eat yighurt?

mushrooms are fine, mine have them sometimes, just be sure to wash them

theres lots of things you can feed your snails
Lettuce Cucumber Tomatoes cabbage corn on a cob courgette banana apple fish flakes pear melon string beans kiwi sweet potato orange pepper carrot strawberry hemp porridge layers pellets chick crumb dog buiscuts rabbit pellets grapes Beer chicken bread sunflower seeds pumpkin seeds peas Oak leaves baby sweetcorn
to name a few :-)

Yeah yighurt, lol. Thanks. chicken? really? The thing I fing hard is getting them to except anything other than lettuce so I figure if I find lots of new things Im more likely to find something they like.

yeah plain cooked chicken, they seem to like it, and apparently they grow better with meat in their diet. you can give then mince as well.
i find all my snails love courgette, have you tried it?

Mine dislike mushrooms so much. Lol, the didn't even take a bite. also, the mushroom had not only been in there a day and it stank!

Oh my margies love mushroom and so do the dimis, they usually go and eat the mushroom first before anything else. But Fulicas have never touched the mushrooms.

if they eat chicken and meat would tuna b ok we do seem to have an awful lot of it in the fridge. an my fulicia turned his nose up at mushrooms, and i have yet to try beer.

and maybe only give them tuna that come in water, not brine or sunflower oil, just to be safe

Well mine were'nt impressed with mushrooms. My pancake slugs didn't even eat it and they'll eat anything.
