Hopefully I´ll get some chalk rocks. Do snails get as much calcium from that as they get from the cuttlefish bone? Thanks

we have loads of chalk rocks where we live, and i put some in the tanks. The snails loved sitting on them, but never chewed on them.

If they do that they are absorving the calcium with their foot. That sounds good to me.

ep! But i don't know if the rocks give more calcium or not. But with both in the tank, you can't go wrong in my opinion.

it's probably safe to still provide cuttle bone even if you do have other sources of calcium in the tank

Yesterday I gave to them egg shell and seashell powder( that I made by smashing it with an hammer, lol) and they all ate it quite fast. They will eat chalk powder too?

Maybe it´s not necessary if I add some water like I did on the shells powder. Thanks for the suggestion, anyway.
