Can anyone tell me how much a snail eat in average in a day please? I noticed my 2 babies do eat as I found some "holes" in the cucumber and lettuce in the morning. But during the day, they rarely come out unless I wake them up. Are they always active in the night time? Other than that, how long do 1/4 cuttle fish last for 2 babies? *PS I am going to make them some porridge in a mo, hopefully they will like that.

depending on the size of the snails i'd say for a baby, a couple of cm of lettuce, are you giving them other foods too, i found courgette to be a big hit with the babies

I tried tomatoes, they don't like it. I tried apples, no thanks from them too. My snails shell size is just less than 1.5cm at the moment. But I know for sure they only munch some "holes" on the lettuce leaf. I am worried that they are not eating enough. May be got to make a journey to Asda later this afternoon to get some courgette for them.

10.354 cubic centimetres you cant really say. it depends how the snail is feeling, how much food its had the day before, how much food is available, how many other snails there are, how big the snail is, temperature, etc. etc.

I find that my younger snails with shell lengths of about 5cm eat way more than my bigger snails. I guess this is because the younger snails are still growing.
