No, people get offered it, in order from first to last. So if the first person took the offer they then move to the bottom.
If they choose to pass up the offer they stay where they are.

You start by drawing names out of a hat or something.
If I was starting doing it just for myself, I'd draw a list up. New people randomly ordered at the top, people I have already sent stuff to randomly ordered at the bottom.
The only trouble is that it would be a million times better if we did a communal one. Then that would be fairer.

You will never please everybody Paul. I think its a good idea to placer- newer people near the top of the list though, the older members have usually got at least 1 'rarer' species. It will be nice to get everyone owning somethng a little bit special. I say keep the first 2 babies (assuming and hoping the hatch) Then draw a list up then of who wants them, see what all of those people have got snail wise and put the ones with the least near the top... Does that make sense? Then like you said, if the people at the top say no, go to the next person down and the 1 that said no stays at the top for the next species to come up. Also I think it would be a idea to limit it to 2 babies per person until everybody thats wants them has got them. Maybe they will lay more than 2 eggs next time, if they are like anythng else the first 'litter' is usually smaller than following litters. What do ya think? Nat PS Shove me on at the bottom, Always interested but right now no space.

yeh i guess its much fairer that way. some cant be on here constantly and so its not fair they should miss out on rare species with not many babies because they cant get online as much. example: a few weeks ago i as 10 MINUTES late for a. degneri kind regards mike

Yeah, that sounds like a good idea Nat. But I'm convinced they can only lay 2 at a time. There is no more room inside. What remains to be seen is how often they lay and whether they hatch.

They certainly feel very different, more gelatinous. Their bodies are to Achatinas what Achatinas are to Archachatinas if that helps explain it.
