These are of my A.Iredalei that arrived this morning, he's only a baby and he still dwarfs the fulica! Argh! Paparazzi! What a muck-tub. Three times the size of the fulica! This snail did not want to stay put for a photo, these were the best of a bad bunch. He still is a lovely snail though

These are of my L.Panthera that arrived this morning The crew One tries to escape Ooo! 149cm! This one is the biggest of them Aerial shot They all have chipped (not chapped ;D) lips. I think this happened in transit. I also have two tigers that I got from Paul yesterday but I can't find them to take pictures of them .

How are your other new babies doing? Fulica and iredalei wasn't it? ;D

Yep, they are fine. The iredalei is lazy and loves to sleep in the plant pot but I get him up to eat at least once a day (he is easy to find at least!). The fulica are both very active and have started putting down new shell growth since I got them. One of them likes going on the roof of the tub ;D. The fulica are still by far the smallest of my snails so far and are strangely easier to find than the tigers

About my tigers.
Both *seem* okay. I'm getting them up twice a day (and every other snail in my quest to find them) to eat but they just climb off whatever food I put them on and rebury themselves.
Today though the larger of the two has had a mouthful of soggy cat biscuit but the smaller one just sat there for a while and then buried itself. The bigger one has been zooming around since this mouthful so I'm not too worried about him, its the smaller one I am worried about.
Any suggestions?
Before you suggest porrige/oatmeal we ran out this morning before I could try it. Thats why I gave them cat biscuits instead

Well I'm sorry to say that the smaller tiger has died. I found him this morning buried and half out of his shell. There wasn't any doubt that he was dead. Actually I'm surprised he lasted as long as he did as I've only seen him eat once. Poor thing... The other (now larger) tiger is doing fine and is eating, although not as much as the others but I think it's said somewhere that this is pretty normal for tigers so I'm not worried about him. On a lighter note, two of my Pantheras have been named, the largest one is called Fluffy and another that I probably wont be able to tell apart later on is called Tinkerbell. Blame these names on my sister.

Finally, here are pictures of my remaining A.Achatina. He is very shy and retiring. Comparison with a 5amp fuse You can see his line easily here You may notice he has a line on his shell. I don't know how it got there, I don't think it was there when I got him so its origin is unknown. It follows the shape of the shell so it may be natural but I doubt it.

Fulica update! One has developed some lovely red stripes so I thought I'd show you all. I tried a lower resolution for the pics to see if the thumbnails would be any clearer, they weren't, so I'm putting the pics on directly again. They're a bit blurred 'cause of the lower resolution. This snail is called Cuddles and he is the smaller of my two fulica, larger than my tiger as well for that matter!
