Hello. Ive got two baby Iredalei, housed with two baby Smithii. A few months ago they were all the same size, now the Smithii have doubled in size , but the Iredali although lively enough Id swear they have not even gained a mm . They have a huge tank and all they should need so whats going on? All suggestions appreciated.

Do you have heating in the tank? I have always found iredalei to appreciate a bit extra heat. My room is very warm because of the big viv I have but this tank is the only one I use additional heating in. The ones I got from Mike are almost 5cm shell length. My fulica rodatzi are also in this tank and they were tiny when I got them and they are about 3cm shell size now ;D I personally found both these species didn't grow much or seem very active until I added the heatmat although they were eating well. All my other species seem very happy at room temp and are growing fast without additional heating. Brian
