Are marginata suturalis only found in Sao Tome&Principe? or can they be found in the West African mainland also?
I ask because I have a wild caught albino suturalis, and theres quite a few wc suturalis about, I was wondering if they were all wc from Sao Tome&Principe?

They also can be found in various parts of West Africa like Cameroon, Nigeria and the Congo.

And in countries like Ghana, Togo , Liberia and Ivory Coast they have been found there?

There are other places listed in the Bequaert book but they are provinces etc. and it would take some doing to find out where they are. If you are asking about Ghana, Liberia etc, I'm sure they can be found in most places of West Africa. They certainly have a broader range than other species such as ventricosa and purpurea.

suturalis has a red/pink coluemella, usually a pinkish apex, and a more elongated shell than other margies.

suturalis has a red/pink coluemella, usually a pinkish apex, and a more elongated shell than other margies. They're also smaller, usually around 110mm long, 60mm wide although they can reach 135mm. Sophie, I have had 5 hatch properly so far, of which 3 are quite strong looking. I also have another clutch of eggs that is a week old so fingers crossed.

Yeah, but not for a few months, I want to observe the babies properly and also wait until there is no danger of posting. I'm keeping 2 or 3, but any spare will be offered out.
