2 of my recently aquired brixton snails have got what looks like a hole in their head. Its a small patch between their eyes that looks white and like they are damaged.
Anyone know what it is?

Alot of the brixton snailies have marks and small injuries. Probably where they were caught and the way they were shipped (I imagine lots of snails in small area) I'm sure it will heal

Yep, these poor snailies usually have scars, chunks out of feet and bits missing!! One i have now Scoobie has a cut right through his foot that has healed by forming an extra flap of skin over it....hard to explain. They will heal Claire - and well done ;D Anjie,x.

Thanks for all the replies - was hoping it wasnt too serious. We have really fallen in love with them and they are starting to smell better now!
You got some too then anjie, there were hundreds when I went all in baskets.
I couldnt believe my luck as Ive been looking for some for a long time but also felt sad that I couldnt bring them all home. 6 is too many really - i didnt expect them to perk up so well from being so sad and dehydrated. They didnt even feed them or spray them.
But they are happy in their crates until I get better looking accomodation. Any ideas? I was thinking of a 3ft viv- I have 2 in each crate at the mo. Whats best form of heating for tigers?

I'm having a similar problem with George, one of my Aspersum. Last night he had a large lump inbetween his eyes. As I watched it it shrink then grew again (over about a minute or two). It doesn't seem to bother him and he readily ate some cucumber I gave him to see if he was ill or not. I couldn't tell if it was still there this morning cos he was retracted but he had moved to another part of the tank overnight, so nothing to worry about?

Yes it is exactly the same as that, only perhaps a little bigger.
