I wont get any of it...I want to be 100% sure when it comes to my snails substrate, I posted this to see if others agreed with me that it may not be suitable... I have a lot of coco humous left, but was trying to find a cheaper source for it, or even get a load of it in bulk...Will keep searching ;D

It is a strange ad that. Fertiliser isn't a pesticide. The only way it could protect against bugs is if the fertiliser is toxic (unlikely) or teh fact that healthy plants aren't so heavily attacked. Still, I'd go for un-treated stuff.

Yes Val, it's brilliant, its easier to store than a big sack and its sterile! It feels lovely and soft too when you soak it and squeeze the water out.
