guys im new to keeping snails alnd wanted to know could you use Artificial plants in a set up or would this be harmfull to the snails or could you use the type you put in snake enclosures any help apreciated

Yep, probably safer than houseplants which may have toxins in them. Also probably makes for happier snails, gives them more surfaces to crawl on and would help cusion the shells if snails get dropped or accidentally fall off the tank lid. Take a look at: www.petsnails.co.uk/care/equipment.html#e_decorationI was thinking of getting some fake plants too. At the moment I put a clump of grass in which they don't eat but love to hide in. Only prob is it grows so fast! ;D

Hello.. Artificial plants are really very nice and useful in the aquariums and other places. I have the fish at my place and have put some plants in it. There is no such problem, make sure to change the water regularly. I don't think so there will be any kind of problem with such plants. Many people use it and they are specially designed for this purpose. You must go for it. ______________ See the huge collection of: fake plants | artificial trees .
