Mirc connection details

· Download and install IRC from www.mirc.com
· Open the program
· Go to options
· Then click the connect category
· Fill in details such as nick1, nick 2 email etc etc
· Next to where it says server, click add
· In description, type petsnails
· In server type put irc.webmaster.com
· The port is 6667
· Then click add or ok
· That should take you to a big window with a connect to server
· Click that
· When the server is connected, go to channel folders options
· Type #petsnails and click join

making mirc look nicer

tis a bit dull, can paly about with options and stuff to change font size and colours but personal i like to use a sort of skin called invision, can be downloaded from - invision.lebyte.com/

just installs over the top of mirc and adds new functions and makes it look nicer.

lol, nor mine, but invision isnt a virus, it just a has a few feautrues in common with a virus.
wont damage your system though.

ok, its a program that allows real time chat between us online.
to put it simple, its like this fast reply box and the forum above, the forum above however is repalced witha huge text box where the real time messages are displayed and the fast reply box is where you enter what yo uwant to saya dn it appears on the real time text box.
so its basically a real time forum.
makes talking easier and a bit more fun

oops, forgot about the perform commands.

in options menu (tools, options)

in connect, options, perform.

enter

/pass <password>

(once you have registered your nick obviously.lol)

also under that (hit return) enter

/join #petsnails

NB - information below only works for invision.

if using invision you can -

also once in petsnails room, right click the window and click - add petsnails to auto join list.

will then automatically connect and open the romm when you start up inviison
