I think it's a good idea to let members post their classifieds straight on the forum again(to make the staffs life easier  ). In order to make this work there are (a few) rules: 1.keep wanted and for sale ads separate. 2.update your ads:remove them if the item is no longer for sale,or change the numbers(species)you have available. 3.don't reply to other members ads in the thread,send pm's instead. 4.this forum is not responsible if anything goes wrong with the transaction between members. Not a rule but a tip:if you're not sure about a seller or buyer ask around. |

I think ads should be deleted every 1 to 2months so people would not contact ads that has snails sold all ready.

That's not a bad idea, as long as we know for sure the snails have sold already. We wouldn't want someone angry with us because their ad was deleted while snails were still available.

On forum that I moderate we do so if no one write in topic in summer time 31days topic will be deleted. If in autumn no one writes in two month topic will be deleted. I think seller has to some point update how many is left and they understand that they need to make new ad if they forgot to update it.

We could adopt such a policy, but I think it would be a good idea to make a special announcement in the Classified section to make sure people know. Some users here read only the Classified section and not the rest of the board.

Hmm. Sounds good or then we just try few things let people know and if needed add rules few more. If possible we could add section for international sells so abroad sellers would be easier find.
